I have too many peaches!!

Ooh, I love that movie! One of the few that is just like the book.

I guess it's because Louis Sachar wrote the screenplay himself.

This is one I've never seen... I read the synopsis but it sounds like an awful B movie...

and where do the peaches come in?! smileys/smile.gif

 
I quite like corny movies (was going to say cheesy smileys/smile.gif )...

but I loved the book (I like kids'/YA books) so I loved the movie. The peaches are quite a plot twist!

 
I don't think it's awful, and by a long shot. Well written, and, IMHO, very well acted...

...(Jon Voight steals the show!), the story line will entertain both adults and kids. Rare, indeed.

Read the book. It has ovely circular logic and symmetry to it. Movie was well done too,

but I already had the characters in my mind before seeing the movie.
