I saw 3 things in Bed,Bath,Beyond catalogue and want to ask about them ...

I have the zester and love it. Does the jar pop opener open large jars - not thick - large? It ....

looks like it works on smaller sizes only.
I usually use the blunt end of the bottle opener
on problems but on the thick ones it doesn't work. I will definitely look into this one.

 
I/ve used swimming goggles too but I will take a look - thanks.

But I do not have a problem in digging into a
mix with my hands. One of our best chefs is always using his hands on his TV show and so I feel justified!!

Elaine, for very large jars, I use the second one I posted. It also works great on twist tops.

 
You're welcome! I don't know if Bed Bath and Beyond sells either one of these, though - I bought

them both from Amazon.

price is certainly right. Any other suggestions for knife sharpeners welcomed

 
The garlic chopper didn't work so well...bought one at a boutique...

takes a LOT longer than smashing and chopping! Not bad if you don't like getting your hands into your food though! The little dumpling press is kind of fun! Does work reasonably well!

I love my Zester; microplane graters, zesters; and silicon goodies!! Muffin cups, spatulas, baking "pans"...all kinds of fun things!
