Randi, how about Pilates? smileys/smile.gif Hummer lets me hold him on my body as I lay upside down and do my leg

exercises.

I tease him by blowing on his tummy, swing him back and forth, then toss him onto my pillow on the bed, he turns around and takes off the bed and runs thru the house. I need really to do that every day, I only do it every once in a while...

I have a cat tree....it had 3 levels on it, we took the bottom level off so they can

stretch and scratch...my husband spiraled sisal rope all over it....we carpeted the 2 levels.

right beside the tree is a 'stand' it's all carpeted, it has a hole in the top that they can run through (Hummer's too big) it's 3 levels the middle they can through and the bottom is flat.

So the 2 cats chase each other, up onto the stand and then up to the top level of the tree, then down again and through the house....so they can some exercise. they don't do that every day but several times a week.

yes, get him into a daily Pilates routine, he'll have a flat tummy in no time smileys/smile.gif)

to get them to run and play daily, I recommend drugs. some high quality catnip should...

do the trick. Meowie Wowie is good......

yep, deliberately "dead panning" that one LOL

Thanks Marsha. I have one of those, but it sits, unused, in the cellar. I'll have

to get it out and try again. My cats are just too spoiled, I think! And one has lousy metabolism.

Capezio had the reverse reaction...this gentle mellow cat turned WILD with catnip.

He turned and batted his pal Phil The Cat and hissed at us.

That was the first AND last time catnip was brought into our home.
