Nothing original about this but I usually find it interesting;
"What 3 people, living or dead, would you chose to have dinner with and what would you serve?"
Guess that's more than a poll could cover but still, "enquiring minds".

I like to pick people's brains, maybe others would too. Could either be multiple choice (would be fun) or "essay".

Polls are anonymous...whereas the beauty of this community is the strength of the connections. smileys/wink.gif
Just my two cents! But I think they could be fun as a sidebar, perhaps. Favorite toppings, for example; favorite chef; favorite cookbook; things you could make in your sleep (that would require write-in categories).
However...it does make me worried that the format will change. (Do not want. At all.)

I don't see the point of polls unless they are to collect marketing
information for whoever is sponsoring the site. I would be happy to do anything that maintains this forum. But as Erin says, I fear that this means the tone of this forum will be changing. Most polls that I see on-line are meaningless, and this forum is not.
