I'm about ready to make pink roses out of fondant - anyone ever done this, and do you have any

I refuse to make things for the bake sale when my homemade cookies

get outsold by some store bought rice krispie treats that someone shoved a stick into and wrapped in a pretty bag with ribbon, and another plate of Costco cookies that were plated on a platter.

Thanks Barb and Lana. Cupcakes are usually left over, there's no rhyme

or reason. I could eat all of the cupcakes one by one, if I sat at the bake table too long ;o) Big items usually go, but you can never tell. The one I brought home is in the freezer right now. I added white chocolate leaves to the cake too. I made several from one rose leaf, then it ripped and I had to stop. I was going to use brown chocolate, but didn't have any on hand, so I used the white - 'looks very elegant on the white cake I think.

Yes, ladies, sad but true... happens every time! I also stopped, and now only bake for friends
