I'm afraid I have some very sad news. Our friend Steve2 passed away yesterday.

The world has just become a less funny, less ironic place.

I only found out now through his wife Merry's facebook post. Apparently he had been in the ICU for a week with a kidney infection.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with him several times over the years. He was a big guy with a big heart, and just as funny in person as he was on the swap.

So sad. I was thinking of Steve yesterday as I was searching through my recipes. I will miss him so.

along with his ready helpfulness, unique solutions and cockeyed humour.

I am so thankful that I have been able to enjoy not only his wonderful recipes

but also his wit and humor. Rest in peace Steve.

He will be missed...

I had been thinking that we had not seen him here lately and was wondering if he was not well.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to spent time with him and Merry during our stay in LA last year.

I will continue to think of him as I use his recipes.

I am very saddened to read this.

He was a kind man that reached out to me via email and shared a little bit about his life, but I had not heard from him in a long while.
RIP

This is so sad. He had such a sense of humor and such great recipes. I

remember him always being helpful with answers and imagine he
was that kind of a helpful person. RIP

I'm saddened to read the news. Steve was one of the first people I chatted with at Gail'. His

wonderful sense of humour will be missed but thankfully he will be remembered when his fabulous recipes are prepared.

I am at a loss for words. Such sad news. Thoughts, prayers and condolences to CB and family. I

will miss his recipes and humor. This is just so sad....

How terribly devastating.....we have lost another treasure.....I was just thinking the other day

while searching for recipes how many wonderful people we have lost. Steve will be missed greatly.

Just stunned. And so very, very sad. Will miss him so. Joe

I don't know Merry and don't want to intrude but can you let her know how much he was adored and will be missed.
