I'm making a rice dish that calls for beef consume, I only have beef broth

what difference will it make in the final outcome? If a more pronounced beef flavor is the difference, should I add a bullion cube?

 
I would too- but if you have time, maybe you will try this

Take twice the amount of beef broth as the recipe calls for, put it in a pan with some celery, onion, carrot, maybe a bay leaf, cover and simmer for as long as it takes for the vegetables to get soft. Strain them out and reduce the broth to the amount you need. This will give you a lot of extra flavor.
