Hi Ang, I have this pan!
I've used it twice, once for the recipe they provided for a yellow cake with chocolate in the center section of the flower, and once with my regular pound cake recipe.  Both times I used a Pam-like spray and I don't remember flour the pan before adding the batter.  It released perfectly both times and was so charming to bring to picnics!  It got lots of ooos and ahhhs.  It's a nice heavy pan too, I think you will like it.  I also ordered their mini rose bundt pan for my DB's mom, and she loves it.  She makes cakes and muffins in it for her ladies club.   Now I want to bake a cake!
