I'm throwing myself a pity party..

happy birthday to youuuuu, happy birthday to you, happy birth-day dear Ma-arg, HBD to you!!!!

Made the lolllipops over the weekend. Used salami and also thinly sliced ham with

with Boursin cheese (T&T recipe). They were delicious and a great hit. BUT - after about an hour or so, the breadsticks lost their crunch although they were still very, very good. I'll definitely make them again and roll them just before serving. I used seseme breadsticks. What was the cheesecake on a stick like?

Yes, moisture makes them "droop" I've found if I make a dozen just to get the party going, then ...

make more as needed in small batches. They are quick so if you don't have a huge crowd, it's not a hardship.

Sorry you are sick on your birthday but if you want a good giggle........

just make the lollipop appetizers an hour or so in advance for a "hen" party, put them on a platter and bask in the laughter! Feel better very soon!

Hey, it's your personal New Year starting today, may it be the best ever (((Marg)))

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MARGE. Missed logging on

yesterday. but hope you are feeling better and had a great day, in spite of not feeling well.

You guys ROCK!!!

Thank you all so much for the warm birthday thoughts. I am feeling almost better today, but I am still at home, which is making my assistant director more of an idiot than he already is, but I digress.
Anyway, I thank you all so very much for the good thoughts.
If we ever all got together, imagine the party we could throw!

Oh Marg...wishing you a Happy Birthday...and to get well quickly..

I'm sorry that it hasn't turned out the way one wants their birthday to. I hope that all the good wishes and love that this group sends you puts a big smile on your face.

Deb
