Is anyone here a professional caterer?

I've catered my fair share of events but a professional I am not...

I think Charlie was/is, if I remember correctly. And CathyZ in Hawaii was/is too. They were both really helpful when I first started.

I ended up deciding it was too much work to pursue full time. Exhausting! I preferred to cater out of my house only about once a month. Now, of course, I only do events that coincide with my school breaks. (Hubby threatens to leave me if I try to balance school and catering simultaneously!)

I was for a long time- "retired" in the 1990s. If you have questions I would be glad to

try to answer them for you, Dawn

I'm still catering after 16 years

But looking for new ideas. Thought I saw someone else here that catered. I have talked(wrote) to CathyZ years ago about some of her ideas and recipes.

I alternate cheffing with catering

catering all the time gets a bit boring and heavy....

why, you want to do catering?

Not on my own (except for a few times) but recently I worked 2 years for a caterer, in....

all aspects of the business, before going to work for a fine dining restaurant. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to send me an email, if you like.
