Is anyone out there? I just baked a cake and I'm exhausted. I haven't been preparing for a big

Rustic Pear Tart: This isn't really a recipe. Just search the freezer for some forgotten

pastry dough of any kind. Or use some pre-packaged pie dough. Roll it out to any shape, turn up the edges a bit. Prick. Sprinkle with sugar. Slice pears or apples very thin and arrange in an overlapping pattern. Sprinkle with more sugar. Bake until crust is brown and fruit is tender.

Meanwhile, search the back of your fridge for a forgotten jar of jam, preferably apricot, and microwave it to melt. Glaze the tart and enjoy.

Hi, home in Ketchikan, was supposed to start about 0300 and last through the day with 25 sustained

and gusts to 65. So far, just breezy, might be picking up??
I live at the top of a stairway that is pretty exposed and with crutches and gusts like that I feel it would pretty easy to take a tumble.
So watching it and will stay in, am invited to Christmas dinner at a friends tomorrow. May ask gentleman neghbor for an assist if it's too bad!!

Enjoy!!!
Nan
