Rustic Pear Tart: This isn't really a recipe. Just search the freezer for some forgotten
pastry dough of any kind. Or use some pre-packaged pie dough. Roll it out to any shape, turn up the edges a bit. Prick. Sprinkle with sugar. Slice pears or apples very thin and arrange in an overlapping pattern. Sprinkle with more sugar. Bake until crust is brown and fruit is tender.
Meanwhile, search the back of your fridge for a forgotten jar of jam, preferably apricot, and microwave it to melt. Glaze the tart and enjoy.
