Considering the dimensions that Marilyn noted, I was planning on buying some

rectangular tupperware-type containers, and wrapping the cookies/bars/candy first and then placing in the containers. Depending on what Marilyn finds out, I was going to use commercial granola bars, instant coffee bags, tea bags, etc. to pack around the containers to keep them from bouncing around. I don't know if that is allowable, but that is what I wanted to do. We will have to wait and see what Marilyn finds out. Your idea of individual creamers would make good "packing peanuts" too.

I think I read where someone used individually wrapped Twinkies for padding---don't hate me smileys/wink.gif

He makes a good point that there are also lots of women over there too, so sending gardening or

fashion magazines etc would be welcome by them.

I hope MargPa sees this. I'm sure she has some good pointers for us. Anyone talk to her lately?

Be very careful about the fashion mags. They look at arms & legs in a whole different >>>

way than we do! Even in pictures!I used to live in the middle east and I spent many hours flying with colored markers, "designing" outfits for the ladies in the pictures of the magazines that I had bought that I knew would just cause me grief. Ruffled collars, long flowing skirts, pant suits etc. So if you think that there is a magazine that has good stories or articles, but maybe has a few pictures that are iffy...design!

Nope, I'm logged in and it still sits there empty.. Doesn't it look like it wants something in it?

I was thinking of asking my son's second grade teacher if she would like to have the kids

make some drawings to include in the package. Like homemade Xmas cards or something. I have to talk to her first and see if it is something she would like the kids to do.
