Obviously, the crowd isn't in the punch bowl...you know what I mean. Should it say "Alcohol drink in a punch bowl that is good for a crowd"? Or does serving a beverage in a punch bowl infer that you are expecting a crowd? Whatever, I'm searching for one.

Here is my MIL's recipe that is quite easy and good. simply REC: Slush.

This makes a lot, and it is wicked.

Haha. reminds me of a line in a new movie out for the holidays>>

a family has gathered for dinner and dysfunctional happenings abound and someone says, "It's not funny" and the other gal says, "I know, and I'm drinking until it is". I laugh everytime I see that commercial. Must see the movie.

If it's not too late already, here is one I had the other nightREC: Cranberry Orange Slush

This was great at a party last weekend. It is on my list for Christmas Eve appetizers.

Cranberry Orange Slush Cocktail
1 12 oz can orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 12 oz can cranberry juice concentrate, thawed
2 C vodka
1 qt cranberry juice cocktail
2 L Sprite

Mix all ingredients except the Sprite and freeze at least 8 hours. It will be slushy.

To serve, mix slush and Sprite in a punch bowl.

I loved this drink. Add a bit more vodka if you want more of an alcohol kick!

Enjoy!
