If you want to make liquors, you have time to make lemoncello & fruit infusions.

They're super easy and they just need time to sit. You've got nearly 2 months for Thanksgiving and 3 for Christmas. Plenty of time.

 
PS. I make infusions in a 5 gallon bucket & keep it in a closet. Siphon some off whenever I want

to give as a gift. One of my favorites is summer blackberries & vodka. Another is roasted pineapple and rum or tequila.

 
PatNoCal, what was the name of that spice blend you add to oil for dipping?

I can't remember the name of it. I keep thinking it's heavenly or Oh My God, or something like that.
