ISO: ISO help from yard sale fans: In a moment of sleepless GBH baking, I must

OH if you are blocked on eBay then don't EVER go to Proxibid, RubyLane, Etsy, or AuctionZip!!!

Got the workbowl & lid I needed for my very vintage Cuisinart for $5 (it was actually a whole lot of small appliances including a working motor/base but I told them to keep/resell/trash the rest) on Proxibid which is actually my favorite and what I am addicted to but RubyLane is picking up steam.

DH & DD are addicted too. Most of our gifts to each other came from those places as well as ShopGoodwill also though their prices are getting way too high.

DH's father worked for Morton Salt until he died in 1969. I found a vintage leather Kickerbocker salesman's case made for Morton Salt including 5 inner cases with samples - from about 1950's - on eBay. I got it for $75. Thing weights about 50#s at least. DH cried when he started opening the case up and saw one of the smaller cases and recognized it immediately.

Memories and things like you find out there just can't be bought in most stores. Of course I also am green with envy over the Bohemian vase Richard in Cincy got Tim so I am watching some pieces thinking I need to add some pieces to my one or two pieces I already have. Just one more thing to collect - antique postcards (my newest addiction), photos nobody wants, cookbooks & recipes, jewelry (I am BIG into old jewelry, mainly costume, now - easier to store than more cookbooks), Wedgwood, vintage Christmas ornaments, all sorts of silverware, dishes and glassware. Oh and vintage clothing. And if it goes the way I hope, I might have a whole box truck of beautiful antique furniture after Saturday. I need to get a booth or a store but I don't want to part with any of it. Yes, I have a problem.

My fingers are twitching, I tell you! Would you like to search for BLUE RUBBERMAID 4-piece measuring

cups??

I'm trying to replicate the SAME pieces I threw away so I don't have to look at that cabinet door and see how stupid I was---over and over again.

Darn it!!! Not finding Rubbermaid ones but found a Bohemian glass one for Richard!!!

Not as detailed or nice as the vase but still, very pretty unusual Bohemian glass measuring cup with all the gold gilt and such.
