ISO: ISO: Last night I defrosted some chicken (this seems like a popular thread of late:)

I took it from the freezer in its original packaging to use tonight. As of noon today - it was defrosted (in the fridge). DH called to say he was working late and won't be home for dinner.

Question: When must I use (cook) the chicken by?

I'd cook it tomorrow. It will hold at least 2 days cooked or you could freeze it for a later dinner
