chocolate chips? I know it's got a couple of more ingredients, condensed milk I think. What is the ratio of everything. It was one of those family things - no one ever wrote it down, and now we are all scratching our heads. Thanks!!

I really do appreciate your help

but I'm afraid we've been googling the same phrase(s) and none of the ones I've found are them ;o).

I know it had condensed milk, butterscotch baking morsels, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. I just need the ratios. I know it isn't critical to get it just right, but I'd like to duplicate it exactly, this year. Thanks again though.

I can ask my cousin tonight if I don't find it soon. Happy holidays, Randi, and not too much sugar! Are you still on the low-carb eating plan? Splenda is abundant in my house this month, but I'm beginning not to even miss the sugar now (did I really say that?)!

Almost... it IS "absurdly" easy, which is what I like about it. I'll post the

old family favorite if I can find it. Thanks though, Starburst! I like the step-by-step illustrations here )

Tada... my cousin just emailed me with it. I like it because it's very creamy, and not too

"chocolatey". Not to mention sooooo easy.

One 12-oz bag of chocolate chips
One half of a 12-oz bag of butterscotch chips
One 12-oz can of sweetened condensed milk

Melt in microwave for only 3 - 4 minutes. When melted, stir in a tsp of vanilla. You can also add chopped nuts if you want.

Pour in a greased 9-inch square pan and let cool in the FREEZER for extra creamy fudge. Cut into cubes and serve at room temperature.

For other flavors substitute peanut butter chips, mint chips, raspberry chips, etc. for the butterscotch chips, or add marshmallows, Rice Krispies, etc. for rocky road fudge.

you're welcome, I wasn't doing anything but sitting around and playing with my mental

blocks '-)))

glad you got the recipe and it certainly couldn't get much easier than that.

yep, I have to watch the carbs but it's for health reasons, not weight. I look like an anorexic great dane at this point "-))

OK, it's been one of "those" couple of days, I'll stop with the silly. smileys/smile.gif

I use Xylitol and you just can't tell it's not real sugar. it gives me treats I normally wouldn't be able to have and I love it. I'm making a lemon merengue with chopped nuts for the crust this weekend.

happy holidays to you too sweetie pooh...
