how about deviled eggs, tuna salad in low-carb wraps, really anything you might classify as "finger foods" - especially with a 4-year old. It will end up being FINGER food for him/her, anyway.

AngAK, this is something I'd soo love to do.....

go salmon fishing with a (Monet-esque picnic at hand)but DH would just opt for Asian style picnic...so we would have to marry the two...never-the-less it's the salmon I'd love...

Here's a recipe for crustless quiche that was just in my paper a few weeks ago

that sounds delicious but I haven't had a chance to make it yet. It has a "master recipe" for the quiche and then 5 different fillings.

The fillings are:
Ham and Asparagus
Bacon, leek and goat cheese
Crab, Corn and red Pepper
Spinach, Mushrooms, Tomatoes and Feta
Sausage, Cheddar, Apple and Sage

I have a boyfriend who LOVES to fish.
Now he wants a boat.
