Richard, over on the EPI board(I know, I know . . .), a gal is looking for some eggless Austrian dishes. Her son needs to bring something for a class project and her daughter is severely allergic to eggs, so no eggs in the house. I suggested Linzer cookies and directed her to this site, but don't know if she'll venture over. Can I coerce you to take a peek over there?

Do they need dessert recipes or anything? Nice sausages, Austrian Emmentaler, cucumber sour cream salad, sauerkraut salad, potato salad, Liptauer spread, etc. Lots of possibilities without eggs.

I'm sitting on my hands because I decided that I would never ever post there again,

but I'm so tempted to give her a piece of my mind. She said she wasn't trying to be mean. I just wonder what she would come up with if she WAS trying.

 
My heart just sank! I know how it feels to be attacked by her......

I am a pretty tough person but her attacks just always got to me more than just about anything else I know. I just don't understand why or how someone can be like that so much.

 
I find the best way to deal with her is to ignore her. If she's ignored, she has no power. The way

it is now, she's accomplishing exactly what she wants, and that's to get attention by attacking people. I know it's hard to ignore someone so rude, but in actuality, she's totally insignificant. She has no importance whatsoever, and is a tiny, tiny speck in the scheme of things. If everyone completely ignored her, she'd just slither away. I used to take her seriously, now I actually find her amusing.

 
Well, I don't know if I could stick to this if I met her in person- I'd probably want to smack her -

but it's easier on the Internet. Good for you, Joe, for not giving in!
