I've been asked to make a "treat" for 10 people. It is to be delivered at 8 am. and individual

Ho, hum. I referenced the REC link, but then forgot to include it for clicking on! Okay,

the recipe link is in place now (above). The image link that is inside the recipe NO LONGER WORKS. I'll have to track down my Pansy Cake photo that I took a while back and re-upload it for you.

Well, I got it uploaded, but it shows up HUGE & times 4!!!! Will get DH to fix 4 me. Geesch.

I think I'm down to just a double. Photobucket and I simply do not get along well. Sigh.

Now I have your photos appearing under your post headline and they are HUGE (and gorgeous)

so weird... photos never showed up before.... stupid puters.

Nope. I buy pansies at the greenhouse and then B4 I'm ready to use any blooms,

I carefully mist fronts & backs of the flowers with water in order to clean them, and I let the sun thoroughly dry them. Once dry, you're ready to use the pansies for this cake or for cookies or for garnishing or whatever else you can dream up. When you pinch the heads off, leave some of the green up at the top of the stem or else the petals will all fall apart and you want the blooms to retain their shapes.

Thx, MariaDNoCA and Heather_in_SF! It's down to 1 photo. Mine still shows HUGE, but I'm

hoping it's a normal size for anyone else who clicks on my point 7 above. The picture there now has the cake on a different platter than my former view that was originally posted a while back. That view was on a Peggy Karr platter. I had thought I'd re-add it again to my post, but if I get another quadruple HUGE display, I'll use up all available space so will simply leave well enough along. U 2 are geniuses! AngAk1 fixed my photo size the last time I butted heads with Photobucket. If you can believe it, back then my posted image of the Pansy Cake with the Peggy Karr platter was teeny tiny, and she had to enlarge it for me.

Is your wall because of the heat? They grow all winter here and spring and fall but do not

like summer. It's just too hot for them.

Maybe if you grew them in cooler seasons. They are so so easy and bountiful.

Yes,in little plastic containers so I can pick the colors I want then I transplant into terra cotta

pots to keep up high & away from the chipmunks.
