Japanese Mayonnaise, is it worth looking for?

Food Network has changed its programming and I am not happy about it because I am missing my two favorite shows. I decided to succumb today and watch the junior chefs. Two of the young chefs used Japanese Mayo, and one of the judges said it is tangier than our Best Foods and that she liked it a lot. Anyone have any experience with it?

Karen, our beach grocery store, which carries a lot of weekend vacationer food

has a sushi section...made fresh and then stacked in clear clam packs. Next to that case, they carry a full line of Japanese extras, like preserved ginger, wasabi, etc. Would you like me to check there for mayo?

It is tangier and sweet. REally quite good. Do you have an ethnic market--latino

that might have an asian aisle as ours do. Or in CA, it should be pretty easy to find, maybe even in a Safeway.
