Oh okay, I see now that Duroc is one of the breeds Niman

Ranch uses. Got it. That explains why I hadn't seen pork specifically called Duroc. Thanks Cathy.

 
Oh brother!!! You're never gonna believe where I found Duroc pork chops today, and

purely by accident. At Safeway, of all places! It's the Open Nature brand, of which I've only bought their chicken...didn't know they offered pork too.They were 50% off of $5.49/lb, making them $2.75/lb. Very nicely marbled pork so I'm guessing they're gonna be quite yummy.

Does your Safeway on Kauai carry Open Nature items?
