Julia Child Dinner from "Mastering the Art of French Cooking"

Oh my!

I am speechless! Everything looked so beautiful, elegant, classy! You are truly a master from the menu to china to the flowers. Just exquisite! Thank you for sharing. Your dinner guests must surely adore all your painstaking attention to detail.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! From the dishes to the flowers to the yummy food and gorgeous yard smileys/smile.gif

Whoa! Magnificent!! How long did it take you to pull that off? Very beautiful

dinnerware and table setting to boot!

LOL. Thank you all. It was a feast...

we started at 6:30 and finished at 11:30.

We are in the midst of the most glorious spring imaginable. What an amazing gift.

Karen, no, not alone, my other half and I do this.

Marianne, the lilacs are pour vous!

Marg, the Julia quote sign was a host gift. We roared with laughter.

Dawn, this china is the "Fragonard" pattern of Kleiber of Bavaria.

It was excess. We used 5 pounds of butter and a half gallon of cream in this dinner (yes, there is some left, but it just sounds so much better when one says "a half gallon of cream." LOL. We nearly died when one of our guest brought the Julia Child cream/butter sign as a host gift. It was most appropriate.

And we worked all week on pulling this off.
