Looking for a recipe for what we call pub cheese. Sharp cheddar

but pahleeeeeze pronounce her first name correctly---it's my name too, my parents were German

it's Ahn-gay'-lah. not Ann-gellah like all the news folks say. makes my skin crawl when I hear it.

to clarify, it's the German pronunciation that they get wrong. in English it's the regular Angela.

but my German relatives all call me by the German pronunciation. none of this matters the least to anyone else. it's just silly when the news reporters want pronounce her name the German way, and they butcher it.

We had a German friend who came to the USA as an adult. Her name was "Gisele".

The Americans pronounced it "jizz - EL".

She pronounced it "GEE - zell - uh", with a hard "g".

So different. And we won't even get into the German pronunciation of my first name, Michael. It's practically impossible to get right unless you are a native German.

Michael ("MEE - sha - ill" is as close as I can come!)
