Made Steve2's dilled potato salad yesterday. I'd forgotten how good it is and what a nice change

Cyn, I can relate to the lack of warm weather. On Sunday we managed to sit outside with friends for

appetizers and wine. What a treat. This morning the thermometer read 12 C (about 53 F) when I got up. Brrrrrr!

 
We had the HEAT ON in the car on Sunday - a little cool. even for me. But now it's warmed

up a little bit - perfect really, but not perfect for summer beach weather. Low 70's.

 
Certainly, but we'd have to include things like humidity, wind.. and for down here, mosquito levels,

lizard index...

Oh, and leaping frogs! Took my Woofus out for his last (you know) before bed last night and what I thought was a lounge lizard turned out to be a big frog that leaped up higher than my head and attached itself to the house like Spider Man! Yes, leaping lizards abound as well.

The grass is always greener on the other side...

 
I wonder how to ship snow days and icy roads. Not complaining, however, I

couldn't take your Florida heat for 5 minutes!!

 
Sandy, be careful, when we lived in Ft. Lauderdale area, there were instances of dogs being poisoned

by biting some big toads. I don't know if they're in this area or not. I think they were called bofo toads.

Edited to say it's bufo toad, not bofo. Do a google search, I see they're in the Tampa area.
