Marg--How are you healing from your recent fall? Was in in October 2025?

How kind of you to think of me! See, I can type again. This is the one thing I can do again. One of the broken ribs still hurts, but I lost the wrist cast a few days ago and now in a brace. Spent 5 days in hospital with a stunningy painful and out-of-control infection of a cut on my shin, as it was left untreated for 5 weeks. Too many pain meds to be sharp so now just lying around, leg raised, trying to get the swelling down, and relying on Netflix.

I'm so tired of not eating well, yet really don't have any appetite. Missing so many Christmas events. But happy to be home.

Thanks for asking. I hope to be back soon.

Oh, boy, as if you didn't already have enough problems without the newly discovered infection. I'm glad to hear you are home again. Keep hanging in there! We are all wishing you well.

marg, I did a literal "face plant" at the lake today, tripping over a parking space stopping block. And by literal, I mean my FACE bounced off the gravelly asphalt parking lot. My commiserations, truly, for the pain you are in.

Goodness gracious, Marilyn. Am very sorry you took a tumble. Those parking space stopping blocks can be deadly. I remember a former landscaping employee who didn't see one hidden under a blanket of snow; Curt tripped over it and broke his leg. Take good care of yourself while your face heals.

Yikes, I cringe everytime i think of this fall you made. Are you broken? Did you damage any part of your face? Oh poor you. We sure do have to be careful.

My right side of my face currently looks like a domestic violence victim poster...or like a child went crazy with a magenta crayon marker. Really makes my green irises pop!

I am diligently applying Arnica (for bruising). Have no clue if it will help, but it certainly can't hurt.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that Marilyn. Keep up the Arnica, DH has used it after surgeries, it helps. You may want to consult with a dermatologist, you may need a teeny bit of plastic surgery. Feel better soon.....
