Maria D's famous Spinach Dip

1 pkg Knorr's Leek Soup mix
1 cup mayo
1 cup sour cream (aka small size tub)
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped
2+ bunches green onions, chopped (mostly white part)
1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
1 round extra sour french bread loaf
1 regular long loaf extra sour french bread

Cook spinach according to package directions. I microwave it right in the box, then drain. Mix all ingredients together then cover and refrigerate overnight. Making this the day before *is key* to having this come out well.

The day of, I slice off the top of the round loaf, tear out the insides leaving a bowl in which to serve the dip. Cut the long loaf of bread into cubes and add to your leftovers of the round loaf. I use a round platter with the dip in the center surrounded by the bread for dipping. Garnish with parsley or whatever your favorite is. Enjoy!
