Nope - it keeps soaking up the sauce
I can't figure out how the noodles in canned soup don't absorb all the liquid but I truly am dying to know. It doesn't matter what noodes I make or buy, if left in a sauce or liquid they just continue to drink up the liquid.
I know it's silly but for this reason, I remove the noodles after cooking from chicken noodle soup and my chicken and dumplins. I put them in one container and the liquid in another. And if I am freezing, I put the noodles or dumplins in the container and freeze overnight then top with the chilled liquid the next day and freeze. - I know - silly and a lot of trouble but what can I say?
