this is a much needed happy ending. I just found out that there was fire at a grey hound rescue
place during the storm. 8 dogs and 5 cats, all rescues were lost and a few others being treated. the woman who owns the place has dedicated her life to saving these animals. she wasn't home and the caretaker is now under criminal investigation as he did nothing to help the animals.
we're figuring out fund raisers, etc to help get her set back up. deep sigh...
