He's just starting solid food. And I was singled out, and told in no uncertain terms that I was not allowed to feed him cookies.

Awww, Lol! my grand nice just turned one, the smash cake was maple syrup and oat flour. No refined sugar.He's just starting solid food. And I was singled out, and told in no uncertain terms that I was not allowed to feed him cookies.

Everyone is well, and we are chuggin' right along.
I prepared Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day dinner for our family, at my father-in-law's home in San Diego. It went really well, and we had several new faces around the table. My father-in-law is about to turn 87, so he lets me do the cooking at the holidays. We also did a ton of baking, as usual. Great fun!
My youngest son, the little guy's Dad, had to work the entire holiday, so he stayed in Tucson. Our daughter-in-law came up to Phoenix with the baby to be with her family for the holiday. Someday we'll all be together for the holiday, I'm sure, but for now, each Christmas with Lisa's Dad is precious, for sure!
