Merry Christmas one and all. Cheers!

Merry Christmas everyone! Our Christmas came early this year,

We found out late September that my brother desperately needed a kidney transplant. So our family was tested, re-tested, older brother eliminated, no match (me smileys/frown.gif, so I went into the donor pool, then finally his wife was approved as the donor. His surgery was on the 17th, and he is doing great, beyond the Dr's wildest expectations at this point.
Fingers crossed he will continue to do well. SIL is coming along, in some pain, but improving....
So much to be grateful for this year, a true Christmas miracle!
So I apologize for being randomly on and off the forum, I have missed y'all!

Have fun! BTW, I decided I like your Xmas Eve French Onion Soup tradition

so I adopted it for DH and I this year (and after tasting, DH would like it every year (at least smileys/smile.gif
Do you think it would freeze well? I have a quart+ left, and would like to serve it for company in 2 weeks...
Mahalo!

Cathy gifted us with a goodie bag to go which included her French onion soup

and creamy wild rice soup with bacon. Both reheated very well and were soooo SO good. Her wild rice soup is my new favorite and I can't wait to return to the mainland to make it myself.

"I can't wait to get back to the mainland"---said no one else ever!!! Except a food lover

Who wants to cook. Love it, Pat.
