MERYL DO YOU HAVE THE CHOC. BROWNIE RECIPE HANDY? I'D LOVE A COPY.THANKS

Another trick to increase the size of EVERYTHING...

On an "empty" part of the desktop if you're using Windows, left-click. At the top of the menu choices, you'll see "Graphics Properties" - click it, and you'll see devices/settings/screen area. Choose the display size to be 640 x 480. Confirm it, and after the screen goes black for a second, everything will appear larger - icons, font on all websites, etc. (I did this at Epi, and it worked fine for me, finally!)

I have also watched someone use a command on the "start" button (extreme lower left of your monitor)... using "settings", follow the options for displaying very large font (I think it's a picture of a wheelchair). You can also make a more-heightened contrast there.

And welcome!

I have the lowest screen resolution - 800x600. Before that, the computer was set

to the highest, as many are right from the factory, and although I could increase the font via the "view" feature, the largest font was still ridiculously small. After asking dozens of people (the tech people were no help), one optometrist out of several, whom I called out of the blue from the phone book, happened to be computer-savvy, and told me to lower the resolution and how to do it. Luckily, it's easy. Well, needless to say, he's now my optometrist. Not only is he a great guy, but an excellent doctor!

Edited to add: Dawn, I can't get mine as low as 640 x 480.
