Meryl's Malware!@! - Att:donatelife

Thanks, Dawn, that's a good one too. I've never used photo bucket, and have no clue how to

reduce images. How does it work?

Here are two virtual cakes for you, so you don't have to bake in this heat - plus

they're calorie-free!

Oh my! Now how is it possible that I'm craving this as I'm enjoying my nice

cold glass of white wine? I'm thinking that was just mean of you Sandy and it's all your fault!

Why thank you orchid! I'm enjoying a nice cold beer while drooling over the decadent combo. I guess

we'll just have to make it one day.

Cheers to you on the other side of Florida!

As DawnNYS said, Photobucket. However, I tried last night in vain using Paint and

Photo Editor with no luck. Not all photos are easily shrunk to size. I just can't remember how I did it once or twice before. I may have used my webpage software WebExpress with Paint Shop Pro 8 free trial.

Do try Dawn's method.

P.S. Meryl, you never looked so good and shimmering! Lol

When you get to photobucket, type in Finer_Kitchen for the

user name, then Thanks_Mimi for the password. You can use my album if you want, or make one for yourself (self-explanitory). Then, once there, just click on upload image, and browse for a picture file that you've saved to your computer.

If it is too big (the piece of cake I used was about twice the size that Finerkitchens - oops, Eat - allows, so you have to go into "edit". There, the steps are self-explanatory too.

Then, hover your mouse over the image that you save there, and click of "direct link". That copies it... then just paste it into your account info here.

Or just email me at dawndo4@graffiti.net or here is the link for the icon of the cake I posted above (if you can't see it for some reason): http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/Finer_Kitchens/DawnNYS/choccake-2.jpg

Cut-and-paste into your account if you want it.)

Dah! That's "Finer_Kitchens", without the quotes! You can edit it right there, no need to go

to another program such as Paint.

Gimp is an awesome tool

this is an awesome tool that is free and really is better than most commercial editing tools - many of which cost hundreds of dollars per version:
http://www.gimp.org/

Works on Windoze, Mac and linux

There is also Picasa
http://picasa.google.com/mac/

Sumopaint (online version is free)
http://www.sumopaint.com/

And this one I've only tried briefly but it looks very nice:
http://www.pixlr.com/

Also Sumopaint has some kewl plugins including this one that allows you to edit images directly from most websites using your Internet Explorer (yawn) or Firefox (recommended) browser.

For future reference (I see you have your icon, nice!), you have to make an

album... you can use the "general" album, but it's got a ton of images on it, so it's faster just to make one of your own and go directly to that when you want to upload something. That way you only have to wait for it to load your own stuff.

Feel from to email me if you ever want help with that.
