My first TJ's experience today.

On a more positive note, I tried TJ's new Coffee Concentrate today for

iced coffee and I liked it a lot. I drink it black too. Prevents that disappointment of looking in the fridge at 3 in the afternoon and finding the ice coffee pitcher with only 1/2 and inch in it.

Great looking berries. My figs are JUST in so I'll start canning this week. My plans are for White

Fig Jam with Szechuan Pepper, White Fig with Pineapple and Black Fig with Orange & Rosemary. Then there's them Olallieberries . . .

Those bushes run all along the side of the house. did I mention TONS of berries?

too bad raspberries are SO not my favorite---can't stand all the seeds and getting rid of them is such a pain. I tried the chinoux(sp) last night and gave up. I have a food mill I might try. also thinking of zapping them with a bit of juice in the blender and then straining them before cooking. I tried the straining after cooking last night. not good.

Melissa, I am all over their fresh figs!

I bought a container of the black figs last week and have been enjoying them slowly...the last of them will be marinated in balsamic and transformed into tasty morsels that include some really good cheese.

I look forward to this time of year for this piece of TJs bounty!

May I put my name infor a jar of that one?

(I never did tell you which of your jams I would like)

Great. I'll be visiting in October, as soon as it cools off a bit!

That was directed at you, Steve!

Any of those fig jams sound wonderful, but the fig and szechuan pepper one really piqued my interest!

I looked all over too, and they sell the whole jar/lid for $30 or more. why don't they just sell

the lids, like the other lids they sell seperately? I just want that nifty lid. marketing.

Michigan has 1 pound cases for 3 plus dollars

I just called and am heading over to pick some up. Thanks for the heads up, guys! Colleen
