My friend held a pampered chef party. I felt obligated to go & now feel obligated to buy something

although I don't really want or need anything I saw. Because I am buying out of obligation, I am inclined to pick something inexpensive. Does anyone have a PC product they love?

Thanks, Dianne. I'm going to sound like Homer Simpson in my description here...

Do you have the one with the scraper thing that is operated with the squeeze handle or the one that is an old fashioned scoop - no scraper thing?
Thanks!

I use the Measure All Cup daily. Also, the $1 paring knife is

amazingly sharp. I've had one for years and it is still as sharp as ever. And if you live in the south and drink sweet tea, the Quick Stir pitcher is great. I have two of those in my fridge all the time. (BTW, I'm not a Pampered Chef consultant, but I had a good friend who used to be so I have collected alot of their stuff.)

The ONLY PC item I like is the Liquid/Dry Measuring Cup and I think it's

pretty cheap. Whatever you do DO NOT get the cookie press! I wouldn't even sell it at a garage sale- I just tossed it!

I confess I love their stainless steel whisk. It has more wires than

the usual models, so it does its work faster. The one I have is 10 inches long in all.

A friend likes their pastry blender. It looks a bit weird -- it has a straight handle, and you hold it like a potato masher. She says it's easier on the wrist. I've never tried it, though.

I've been given other products, but they all seem to end up in yard sales.

Do they still make the "tassie tamper"? I have found it very

helpful- Also one year my mom bought that "turning chopper" for all of us- works great- Just don't fall for their oven/pizza stone- unglazed quarry tile from home Depot only costs about $1.50 and it works the same....

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their little mini whipper - you can leave it standing up in the pan

and it's great at scraping the bottom of the pan. I always use it when I'm making pudding, or something that needs careful stirring so as not to stick to the bottom of the pan. Oh, and the bamboo spoons are always wonderful - bamboo is just a great product.
I also got their cake pan set which is wonderful, heavy quality:

I love the Liquid/Dry Measuring Cup, the tassie tamper, and the pitcher

with a mixing plunger for lemonade or other pulpy drinks.

okay, I am impressed... no apostrophes but you know how to do an accent ague?!

you've moved beyond my capabilities!

Aw, it's just "copy/paste" after finding a correct version using Google.

But...thank you! I had no clue it was called accent ague. Good word. Can I use it in Scrabble?
