yes, I did choose several things, thanks to the wonderful suggestions.

It adds up fast! I got the mini-whipper, the small scoop, the whisk, and the non-stick chef's tongs (b/c I need a pair with my non-stick & le creuset). Hard to believe that's more than $50 worth!

I was tempted by the chopper b/c it seems like a fast way to do nuts without having them scatter around, but since I have a food processer with a small bowl insert, and truly, how often do I need chopped nuts, I couldn't justify the expense.

ç é Ă ê æ ã î . They're easy. If you're on Windows.....

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools> Character Map.

You'll see a whole chart of odd characters. Click on the one you want. Hit "Select" then "Copy." Now it's on your clipboard. Just paste it where you want it.
