My mom is nearing her 80th birthday, and still makes some of my "favorites" for me

lve this whole post. I treasure any recipes in my Mom's or rarer my Oma's handwriting. Mom's

turkey stuffing recipe is in German and I pull it out every Thanksgiving. She copied it down from a Francois Pope(I think) TV show eons ago and wrote it out in German which came more easily to her at the time. We had 2 notebooks of handwritten family recipes from my Mom and my Oma, but they have gone missing. My heart aches when I think of this loss. I still have a good collection of Mom's handwritten ones though. also the tattered magazine and newspaper recipes that became family favorites.

Brilliant! Custom fabric turned into dishtowels. Who knew custom fabric was so cheap & easy?

Why didn't we think of that? How brilliant! I'd like to choose my favourite recipes to make

Christmas gifts for dinner hosts.

I love this!!!!

Even just the idea of using large transfers, we could do coloured photos plus recipes.

I'm so excited.

Thank you Carianna!!

If any of you try this, I'd love feedback. I really know my mom would love this, especially as I

have my grandma's recipe book. Plus I think it would be cool to get a set for my girls as they graduate high school and go off to college, or as wedding presents? (getting ahead of myself there...)

But I have always struggled to scan things with great results. The images seem so tiny after I scan, for some reason.
