My nephew Dan was one of the Americans killed in Nepal

I made a point of looking up the comments you spoke of on Yahoo....

and I found them to be despicable. People filled with so much envy towards successful and bright folks who do good things in the world. Please, do not give them another thought. They are not worth the energy. I have been a fan of Google since day one and have watched them grow, have seen how they treat their employees, allow them to really think and create, and Google has established one of the best working environments in the entire world. Your Dan was truly blessed with his talent, and abilities. There are thousands of people who apply every year to work at Google and only a handful make it.
Your Dan was part of the process that is forming the future of our world, your family must have been of great inspiration for him.

Thank you for your kind words..

. I just don't get why people assume a well-paid young man of 33 must be a trust-fund baby, a 1%-er and a racist to boot. He lived some of his childhood on a small farm in Arkansas, went to a science-and-tech high school there, and came back to CA for college. He earned his way up. Isn't that the American dream?

It is despicable to say the least....

the type of comments that people leave can be so incredibly cruel and heartless and just show that anonymity is a great cover for ignorance, spite, and lack of character

do not waste your time with those who do not deserve it.
