My Weekend Six

I am really disappointed to hear that they got rid of their tiptics. I think lil

one's will never learn to read a map. Bummer! While we have our gps, I love to visualize locations, etc. I was thinking of you this am; I forget which channel, but they were describing a website, I believe it was Route4you.com (?) that enabled you to enter a bunch of addresses, and it would plan the best route. They went into some details on how it was different than mapquest, but I wasn't listening completely.... If you still need a map for Pa, send me a PM. Would be happy to mail one to you!
Best,
Barb

AAA exists only to collect your yearly dues, IMHO, they no longer have maps or anything else you....

need but only exist to sell their travel services, insurance etc. They thrive on the millions of people who pay their dues and NEVER use their roadside service. If you have the misfortune of needing their service several times in a particular year, through no fault of your own, they will send you a nasty letter indicating your dues will increase. This is in spite of the fact that you have paid them for the last 35 years with no events. Don't get me started. The GPS has increased their bottom line by a million.

Agree... after YEARS of renewing annually, we stopped a couple years ago... we never

used them, even ONCE, for roadside assistance. We would go in every so often for maps and that's it... pretty expensive for a map.
