Need food ideas for a REALLY girly fru-fru wedding shower at 5pm

Thanks for ideas, Nan - the bride to be wants to invite 65 ladies, but we're trying to pare it down.

Pink, hmmmm....

Shrimp bisque, or crab...will be a lovely shade of pink; serve in demitasse cups? Add a little extra cayenne for additional zip ~ Brazilian style...

Salmon grilled in banana leaves should yield pink a lovely pink color...season Brazil style, wrap and grill. Serve with edible flowers alongside.

Anything usually white can "get" in the pink...

Pink-white chocolate decorations...drizzle over nut clusters, cake bites...how about cheesecake bites sour cream topping, drizzled with pink chocolate?

Your table decor will be the anchor, and the food the accents. I'd think loads of pink tulle and ribbon...flowers...
