Need to vent. Have 8 coming for dinner today. On the way home last night

I blew a tire. Naturally, it was raining and I got soaked.

Next, the grill died. DH is on his way out to buy one before guests arrive.

After 37 years he's also forgotten that today is my birthday.

I need to go to my happy place.

Had a lovely day and your wishes made it even better. Ate early

sat around on the deck and relaxed. Everything came out really well. Sister made a CI yellow cake with chocolate bittercream icing that was wonderful. Blender mojitos from this month's BA. My dear brother gave me a beautiful 9x12 photo of the three of us taken at his son's wedding.

Perfect day.
