Need totally NFRC advice

My dentist is out of town until next year, and I have just had a crown pop off. Guess it's sort-of food related since I was eating homemade coconut candy. Anyway, will it hurt anything to wait until Jan. 4th to see about this? My dentist didn't leave covering dentist info.

TIA.

Happy New Year to all, although obviously mine will be the same.

I think they sell some kind of 'filler' to use when something like this happens

and maybe it can hold you over until then. Other than that, I'm not real sure if it will matter. I doubt it will.

Same thing happened to me while traveling. If you can,

just push the crown back on until you can see the dentist. Good luck!

See if your drugstore has a small tube of "Fixodent". That's what my dentist gave me when

my temp crown kept popping off. It's supposed to last for several weeks but I had to be careful because it would still pop off every 3rd or 4th day, even with the fixodent. My advice? Glue it back in and eat very gently until the doc gets back in town.

Be very careful using those over the counter things, You don't want to

have the crown come off and swallow it. I bought some temp. dental glue for the same thing and it didn't work at all and I finally gave up, went without the crown for a day or two until the dentist could fix it.

you can wait. Unless it really is in an obvious place and bothers you I have waited longer when away

Oh - and warm it up before applying - to body temp - I was in pain from the cold until it did
