New Tomato Recipes from the NYT

I am with you! I always say I am the lion in this savannah...if you

come into my territory and threaten a remember of my pack then all bets are off. We live on the edge of a small Ohio city, have about an acre that back up to very large woods. The wildlife we see is stunning. Most of the time, we coexist peacefully because frankly..most of them can outrun my pup. Except for the ground hogs...fat and slow and vicious. If I see them now, they get a lion's justice. You are much more humane than I am!

Ditto, have been supplying the neighborhood with delicious tomatoes from my garden. There's just

nothing better than homegrown tomatoes! Wish I had a greenhouse to grow them year round.

beautiful! and you all just crack me up---heirloom tomatoes, huh?!?! fresh garden beans ?!?!

gigantor cabbage---yes!

Yes, I've been buying locally grown from a farmers market since I've been here and was surprised

that they don't have the acidity I remember from the past. I wonder if it's been bred out of them.
