NFR-Fun: Hazard Fraught Tool Sale [spoof on Harbor Freight tools]

ROFLOL - Sadly, I have seen commercial contractors buy things at the real place

to use IN the construction of buildings - like using one of those inferior air compressors to pressurize the fire sprinkler lines in critical use buildings such as police precincts..... If it doesn't get caught and doesn't cause problems within the first year they are off the hook more or less since fire sprinkler systems are design/build and the specs weren't tight enough to spec any criteria for the individual components.

Dearly Departed Neighbor Bachelor Bob used to drag Larry to Harbor Freight at least

once a social security check.

We have cannisters full of bungie cords.

A good cheap thing they have: ceramic knives

I'd never even heard of Harbor Freight until I visited my sibling and used a ceramic knife she had. I'm used to folks having some pretty bad knives in their kitchens unless they are really into cooking, which my sibling is decidedly not. So I was surprised when using them and asked where they came from: Harbor Freight 10 bucks (or some such). A steal for camping gear or whatever. A friend got them for her beach house and I sent one in the care package to Pat when her house in Bastrop burned, so she'd at least have something to use while they were in the motel.

So I've been there twice, once here to get Pat her knife and once when my sibling took me to show me the place...and I bought a plastic pill dispenser. Nothing Harbor-y or Frieght-y either time.
