NFRC at all: Saw a curly-haired man who looked very familiar in a cafe in Soho yesterday.

I've seen a lot of celebrities but almost running over keith urban was the tops

He and an older lady that looked so much like him I assumed it was his mother were leaving the popular sushi restaurant in our local strip shopping center and just sort of stepped into the main drive. He sort of waved a 'thanks'. Guess if I had run over them it might not have been the best story but since I didn't, it's the best.

Erin, Baranski lives right around here -

C sees her all the time when he walks Gomez early in the morning, he even sussed out where she lives!

Oh, and my brushes with celebrities are mostly in London

In Harvey Nichols one day I bumped right into Sylvester Stallone in ladies hand bags

Also in Harvey Nichols, Alan Rickman (swoon)

Meg Ryan walking down the street, and a host of UK actors which no one here will recognize, LOL!

...insulted my pregnant wife

I was at an event at the Waldorf in NYC several years ago (1994) and my wife was 8+ months pregnant. She had a nice dress custom made for the event - to accommodate her very large belly. She looked beautiful but very pregnant and waddled as she walked. As we were walking to the bathrooms the actress Robin Givens walked by us with another woman and said quite loudly with a look of disgust directed squarely at my wife "that's gross!"

Behavior that might be expected of an actor that specializes in evil, ***y, women but at least now I know she's not that good of an actor. (Headiline reads: No Class, for Head of the Class...")

I've got a better celeb story but I've been saving it for my Tonight Show appearance... (too bad it is even more dated than that one)

I met Patricia Neal once.

Her daughter, Lucy (dad was Roald Dahl), was married to the son of the woman I worked for in Santa Fe. She came to Rose's antique shop where I worked and Rose introduced us. She was so grande dame Hollywood and so gracious.

I also sat next to Michael Palin on a bus at Heathrow airport. We were being driven out to our plane. He kept making jokes about our plane and the airline industry and had everyone laughing.

Oh, and a prince (now the King of Belgium) once caught me from falling down a flight of stairs. smileys/smile.gif
