Canon Powershot 570. Took a bunch of new photos of the 10 inches of snow today and I'd like to email some out. A disk was included with the camera explaining how to download the pics. When I put the cd in the drive I get this message " The screen resolution to execute Digital Camera Solution Disk is not sufficient"

Duh- sufficient for what and how do I fix it?

Help inside:

Assuming you are on a PC:

Check your display properties in the Control Panel - choose "Display", then "Settings"

Check the "screen resolution" and "color quality" settings

Color Quality should be at least 16 bits, and the screen resolution should be at least 1024 x 768 pixels.

Do you know what size monitor you have?

Uh, when I changed the resolution I somehow "lost" the screensaver pic of Ang's garden.

Tried going back to a lower res. but I still can't find it.

Lost in cyberspace?

If it uses a memory card, I can walk you through how to dowload. Let me know!)

Christmas present, was it, Cyn?!

It's still there - try "my pictures" folder, or if all else fails, do a search under

"find" in the "Start" tab on the lower-left part of your screen.

It does use a memory card but I have an HP printer where all you do is stick the card in a slot and

it shows the photos on the monitor.
Thanks for the offer though. Still haven't found Ang's garden.
BTW- is your herb garden snowed in or can you see it? Amazing about the sage isn't it?

Cyn, were you able to print the pictures that you wanted? About the screensaver

if all else fails, you can get it off of photobucket, here... (bet it doesn't look quite like that now!) My herb garden is is never-neverland, way out in the backyard, under a foot of snow. But the sage and chives will be there, when it finally does thaw!
