I fell in love with this little porcelain tea set when I saw it months ago. Then I saw the dress and the idea just came together.

Helped along with a fat roll of duct tape.

I made a panicked call to Larry the day before delivery: "Lar, I just realized...the basket HAS to have a teddy bear! Every tea party has a teddy bear at the table. Can you stop at the mall on the way home and pick one up? I don't know...not toooo small. But not tooo big! It has to be just right..."

And I'd have to say he nailed it.

I added the tiara (Got it for $2.50...and it lights! of course, it lit up only after replacing two batteries that cost $10 + tax).

And the little purse I added looks a bit like a cod piece, huh...

Oh, that is too cute. I remember having little china tea sets when we were kids.

Wonder what happened to them? Our tea parties had a cat in doll clothes rather than a teddy bear at the table. Poor old Charlie cat. She got pulled in wagons, ridden in bicycle baskets and lots of other undignified things. She was mean as a snake and lived to be almost twenty.

That's adorable! Good luck with your entry...

Mar, it's so good to see you deflect your attention away from the London trip since it's so up in the air. I sure hope you make it but in the meantime, you may as well relish not having to work overtime and get back here and in the kitchen!

For your listening pleasure, I present.....

Wonderful, and congrats to you and Lar. And............

No, not a BIT like a codpiece. PLEASE don't make me explain.
