NFRC - So what Christmas movie do you have to see before it can be Christmas?

I'm in the minority because I don't care for either It's A Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street. I just have to see White Christmas in all the glorious cheesiness of it at least once every year.

I'm a TOTAL GRINCH!!

My dear Mother, sitting on her star in heaven, would agree 1,000% and call me not only a Grinch, but a crab (while she was at it!!)

But I love, love, love the Grinch!!! "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch . . . all the way to my favorite line . . . STINK, STANK, STUNK!!!

The Grinch is the only holiday TV that I try to catch, and invariably (and sadly), I miss it almost every year. But it is my favorite. Dr. Suess is the BEST-EST EVER!!

The original Christmas Carol with Reginald Owen -1938 and Winnie the Pooh Christmas. I also love

Miracle on 34th St., It's a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas, but I think I've OD'd on them.

"The Man Who Came to Dinner" with Bette Davis and "Love, Actually" with everybody.

"White Christmas" and "Holiday Inn."

I'm pretty sure my brother and I have every line of "White Christmas" memorized. Now I pity people who mention anything remotely related to Vermont and winter within earshot of us...

(The same goes for "Singin' in the Rain.")

Christmas Vacation... and The Year Without A Santa Claus

This year we watched the cartoon version of Year Without followed for the first time by the "real people" version with John Goodman as Santa. We didn't even know that existed. Very fun!
