*Tons of tamales from my SIL,:
*Mango-Jicama salad from Steve 2
*Michael's easy and delicious Mexican Arroz, used Hatch chilies this year - This is my go-to recipe (extra goes happily into my freezer for future quick dinners)
*Chezz's Mexican-style Charcoal-Grilled Corn, adapted to kernels roasted in the oven, then combined with the great flavors. This was new to me, I loved it, and best of all, the Mexican guests went back for more!
*Cha-cha beans - good, a touch spicy, but next time I will cut back on the tomatoes a bit. I let them finish in my crockpot while we went out.)
Other suggestions were located on 19501. And we had lots of cookies of all kinds. Yum!
