Now that we've finished roasting Rachel Ray... what do you think of Semi-Homemade?

I hardley watch foodtv anymore. I sure miss the good old days when you actually

learned stuff from them. Is Semi-Homemade the woman who looks like a Stepford wife in desperate need of supportive undergarments?

If I were invited to her house for dinner and I couldn't get out of it, I'd bring my own food.

At 5190, poor Sandi innocently posted a recipe, and gave credit like you're supposed to..........

I saw the end of a show, where whe did a quesadilla served with fig preserves

I didn't see what she put in it, but the whole idea of cheese with the fig preserves was very intriguing-- I have searched for this recipe (and the fig preserves) to no avail- Did anyone ever see this?
I only got in on the tail end and have NO idea what she filled those quesadillas with!!!!

It's okay Joe - I was laughing along with the rest. smileys/smile.gif Maybe it was the Rachel-ism I used..?

I promise I won't use it again!

But I did make the lettuce wraps again tonite, and everyone loved them, so I don't mind admitting it was hers at all!

Yes!! I think that sounds really good! I know now I'm no food snob,

because I really think I will try a Sandra Lee recipe- May switch Brie for the Goat Cheese-

Ya gotta admit, this one is different!

Now if only I can findthe fig preserves, I have a fig tree, any recipes??

I spent about $30 on other preserves when I went to Whole Foods to look for fig!!LOL!!!!

I don't watch her--did when she started, but I didn't see any

recipes that I wanted to prepare. I don't do tablescapes, I don't have alcoholic beverages with every meal, including breadfast. I don't change the kitchen curtains to match my clothes and my table decor. And I don't change the color of my Kitchen Aid mixer.

This last season's tv shows must have gotten a memo that read...

"females are to bare as much as humanely possible without incurring an X-rating". EVERY show I watch now, you spend half the time just KNOWING they are going to fall out at any moment. It's just sad... they've ruined some perfectly good shows.

She made sangria (somewhat) the other day and poured herself a glass

that must have contained 1/2 gallon! Maybe she needed it after the ratings came in?
